The industrial talk was given by Nestor Pestana, who is a critical designer based in London. His work contains creation of fictitious narratives to promote inventive and critical thinking; as well as sharing and exchanging knowledge, which is based on research and collaborations with other experts, the work explore the social aspects of our technological environments are expressed through a variety of media which includes film, animation, illustration, interactive connections and their performances. He has done an MA in Design Interactions at the Royal College of Art, one of his recent exhibited highlights include, paths to Utopia; Night school on Anarres at Somerset house. Abundance of life and Swiss Pavilion’s school of tomorrow, his work has been acquired by the Well come Trust Image collection as well.
